Summit X Zürich takes place at the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg, on the western shore of Lake Zurich, around twenty minutes from the city centre. Opened in 2020 and designed by Christ & Gantenbein, the building holds a 1,500 square metre exhibition, an auditorium, and a nine-metre chocolate fountain in the foyer that visitors tend to photograph before they say hello.
Bus 165 runs from Bürkliplatz and stops directly at the venue. By train, take the S8 or S24 to Kilchberg ZH, then walk ten minutes along the lake.
The venue is not a hotel ballroom. It stands on the site where chocolate has been produced since 1899, at the end of a chain that begins with cocoa beans several thousand kilometres away.
